    Superb

Great location to major sight-seeing attractions, particularly the ROM. We found we could walk to most things we wanted to see. When the distance was too great, the subway was very close. Despite the business of the area we were out at night and felt quite safe. I (female) walked around the Toronto university area at night and felt quite safe. The room was clean and comfortable and very adequately met our needs. We felt it was good value for the location.

    The attached pub.

Great location parking available wifi shower worked well (easy to set temperature, roomy curtain set up) Good light blocking curtains easy checkout newspaper desk

Air condition was noisy halls smelled smokey/musty room smelled musty no mini fridge or micro wave protestors disturbed my sleep. Parking was "extra" and expensive

    Exceptional

Two things: Relatively economically priced for Bloor St. In Toronto near museums, upscale shopping and student fun stuff (eg. Restaurants, bookstores.) Plus: staff for the most part was very friendly and helpful!

If breakfast had been included it would have been great.

    Exceptional

Great location, helpful staff, decent price for the location and convenience.

    Exceptional

I loved that the hotel seemed to put little details into consideration- they had these cute little pillow sleeves that informed you of which pillows were firm and which were soft. I thought that was thoughtful. The location was very close to a course I was taking, and very close (within a block or so) to the ROM. The hotel had a great pub on the main floor (The Fox and Feather) which had a great pub menu at reasonable prices.

  • 6.4
    Good

Its location, variety of channles offering at TV, Free Wi-Fi

no safe, no flat screen TV

  • 7.0
    Very good

Wi fi is free! Also on the 9th and 10th floors you can plug a computer into a line for even better service. Staff were nice and the location between Toronto University and Bloor Street (for the shops) mis good. A short subway ride or a 40 minute walk will take you to the CN Tower which is fun. Adjacent pub (part of the hotel) sells Canadian red beer. The pub opposite is as good but much lower beer prices.

Space in the public areas is limited so breakfast has to be taken in the adjacent bar. By breakfast time this is not very clean and you end up on grubby chairs with beer stained tables. Staffing at breakfast time is slow. It is only a minor point and the breakfast was fine.

The hotel was situated in a area that everything was at walking distance.

Not impressed with the way I was treated when I registered. Furthermore I was awakened by a loud sound as the there is plumbing problems in the hotel and when the staff was informed they weren't surprised and didn't seem be concerned. d

Staff were friendly and very helpful, arranging a taxi for departure to airport. Supermarket across the road was a bonus, and the coffee shop on site handy also.

No safe or fridge in the rooms but ice machine on some of the floors

    Fabulous

The hotel is very close to subway station and has a wonderful location for shopping. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are good enough

The receptionist behavior was impolite and nonconsiderate and not friendly at all They changed my US dollar to Canadian dollar with a very low rate and didn't accept any objection.I didn't like her reaction at all and made me feel so bad even after the first day I tried to find another hotel and move but didn't find a suitable hotel so stayed but after two days I felt better since everything else was fine
